Account Deletion

You can delete your Sinau account and all associated data at any time. This page explains what happens when you request account deletion.

How to request deletion

Send an email to [email protected] from the email address associated with your parent account. Include:

  • Your name as registered in the app
  • The subject line: "Account Deletion Request"

We will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

  • Parent account — name, email, and Google Sign-In credentials removed from our database
  • Child profiles — all child names, ages, avatars, and learning progress
  • Screen time settings — daily limits and usage history per child
  • Synced preferences — any settings synced across devices

What may be retained

  • Anonymized usage logs — aggregated, non-identifiable analytics retained for up to 30 days for service stability purposes
  • Legal records — if required by applicable law (e.g., transaction receipts), retained for the minimum period required

Retention period

All personal data associated with your account is permanently deleted from our database within 7 business days of your request. Local data stored on your device (child profiles created without sign-in) is deleted immediately when you uninstall the app.

Third-party data

Authentication data stored by Google Sign-In is revoked upon deletion. Voice data processed by ElevenLabs is not stored by Sinau — it is streamed in real time and discarded after each conversation.
